Job Summary

Commis II assists with food preparation, basic cooking, and maintaining the workstation while developing culinary skills.

Job Description

  • Assist in preparing ingredients, sauces, soups, and garnishes.
  • Support senior chefs during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the section.
  • Follow hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Properly store and label food items.
  • Learn and follow standard recipes.
  • Perform basic cooking under supervision.

Qualification and Requirements

  • Certificate in Hotel Management, food production
  • Basic knowledge of cooking methods.
  • 6–12 months of experience preferred.
