Job Summary
Commis II assists with food preparation, basic cooking, and maintaining the workstation while developing culinary skills.
Job Description
- Assist in preparing ingredients, sauces, soups, and garnishes.
- Support senior chefs during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the section.
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards.
- Properly store and label food items.
- Learn and follow standard recipes.
- Perform basic cooking under supervision.
Qualification and Requirements
- Certificate in Hotel Management, food production
- Basic knowledge of cooking methods.
- 6–12 months of experience preferred.
