Job Summary
Entry-level role assisting in the basic preparation and cleaning tasks of the hot kitchen, while learning fundamentals of cooking.
Job Description
- Basic food preparation such as cutting, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Keep workstation and equipment clean.
- Assist in mise-en-place and ingredient preparation.
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and storage procedures.
- Support senior chefs with simple cooking tasks.
- Adhere to kitchen rules and safety instructions.
Qualification and Requirements
- Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred, certificate in Food production or Hotel Management
- 3 months traineeship experience required
