Job Summary

Entry-level role assisting in the basic preparation and cleaning tasks of the hot kitchen, while learning fundamentals of cooking.

Job Description

  • Basic food preparation such as cutting, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean.
  • Assist in mise-en-place and ingredient preparation.
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and storage procedures.
  • Support senior chefs with simple cooking tasks.
  • Adhere to kitchen rules and safety instructions.

Qualification and Requirements

  • Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred, certificate in Food production or Hotel Management
  • 3 months traineeship experience required
