The Concierge is responsible for providing personalized assistance and information to guests, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role serves as a key point of contact for guest inquiries, bookings, and services, acting as an ambassador of the hotel’s brand. The Concierge coordinates with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and professionally.
Job Description
Guest Services & Assistance
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional, courteous service.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Arrange transportation, including taxis, shuttle services, or car rentals.
- Make restaurant reservations, tour bookings, and event arrangements.
- Handle VIP, special requests, and personalized services for high-value guests.
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth guest service.
- Communicate guest preferences, special requests, or feedback to relevant teams.
- Follow up on guest requests and ensure timely completion.
Information & Recommendations
- Provide accurate information about local attractions, entertainment, shopping, and dining options.
- Offer suggestions tailored to guest preferences and interests.
- Maintain updated knowledge of local events, tours, and transportation schedules.
Administration & Documentation
- Record guest requests, reservations, and special instructions accurately.
- Maintain concierge desk materials, brochures, and reference guides.
- Track and manage tickets, bookings, and reservations handled by the concierge team.
Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all guests receive prompt, personalized, and professional attention.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and report trends or recurring issues to management.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Follow hotel safety and security protocols when coordinating guest services.
Qualification and Requirements
- Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in concierge, front office, or guest service roles (hotel experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local attractions, transportation, restaurants, and entertainment options.
- Professional appearance, grooming, and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and provide personalized service.
- Proficiency in PMS, booking systems, and office software is an advantage.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
