E - Commerce Executive
Job Summary
The E-Commerce Executive is responsible for managing the hotel’s online sales channels, including the official website, online travel agencies (OTAs), and other digital platforms. The role focuses on maximizing online bookings, improving the guest digital experience, and supporting revenue growth through strategic online initiatives. The E-Commerce Executive role in a hotel is crucial, bridging the gap between digital marketing, revenue management, and distribution. This position is primarily focused on driving online room revenue and managing the hotel's presence across all digital booking channels
Job Description
Online Sales Management
- Manage and update the hotel’s website, ensuring accurate room rates, packages, promotions, and availability.
- Maintain listings and optimize content on OTAs such as Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and others.
- Monitor online inventory to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
- Implement dynamic pricing strategies in coordination with the Revenue Management team.
Digital Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute online campaigns to increase bookings.
- Support social media and email marketing efforts with online offers and promotions.
- Track digital advertising performance and suggest improvements for ROI.
Customer Experience & Engagement
- Respond promptly and professionally to online inquiries, reviews, and feedback.
- Monitor guest satisfaction across digital platforms and relay insights to management.
- Ensure a seamless online booking experience across all channels.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze website and performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and booking trends.
- Prepare monthly e-commerce reports highlighting key insights, opportunities, and challenges.
- Benchmark competitor digital performance to identify best practices and opportunities.
Qualification and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
- Experience in e-commerce, online sales, or digital marketing (hospitality experience preferred).
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret online performance data.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools
- Results-driven with a focus on increasing online revenue.
- Attention to detail in managing online content and offers.
- Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams.
