The Junior Waiter/Waitress supports the service team by assisting with table setup, basic service delivery, and guest needs. The role is entry-level and focuses on learning service standards and developing skills.

Job Description

  • Assist senior waiters with table setup, clearing, and resetting.
  • Welcome guests and provide basic information about menus.
  • Deliver bread, water, condiments, and assist with serving food.
  • Support in polishing cutlery, glassware, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Clear plates, trays, and ensure timely removal of used items.
  • Assist in buffet setup and replenishment.
  • Ensure dining area remains clean and organized.
  • Report guest feedback or issues to senior staff promptly.
  • Follow grooming standards, hygiene, and safety procedures.


Qualification and Requirements

  • Basic education required, Certificate of Hotel Management, Food and beverage service
  • 0 to three months school experience
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Energetic, polite, and service-oriented.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks and fast-paced environments.
