Laundry Vallet

The Laundry Valet is responsible for providing efficient, timely, and high-quality laundry and pressing services for guests and employees. The role ensures proper handling, processing, and delivery of all garments while maintaining the hotel’s service standards and guest satisfaction.

• Receive, check, and record all guest laundry, dry-cleaning, and pressing items.
• Ensure all items are properly tagged, sorted, and processed according to fabric type and guest instructions.
• Inspect clothing for stains, damages, and special care requirements before processing.
• Communicate with guests regarding special handling, delays, or garment issues when required.
• Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of cleaned items to guest rooms.
• Operate laundry machines safely and efficiently, including washing, drying, and pressing equipment.
• Follow hotel standards for stain removal, garment care, and fabric handling.
• Ensure proper folding, packaging, and presentation of finished items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet and laundry areas.
• Maintain logs for laundry received, processed, and delivered.
• Track guest charges accurately and communicate billing to the front office or cashier.
• Report lost, damaged, or missing items immediately to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Provide friendly, discreet, and professional service to all guests.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for guest property at all times.

• Previous experience in hotel laundry operations or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of garment care, fabrics, and laundry equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
