Marketing and Graphics Designer
Job Summary
The Marketing & Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs and marketing materials that enhance the hotel’s brand identity, promote services, and engage guests. This role bridges creativity and marketing strategy to support sales, online presence, and guest experience initiatives.
The Marketing and Graphics Designer is primarily responsible for the conceptualization and creation of all visual assets while simultaneously contributing to the strategic execution of marketing campaigns. This individual ensures that all communications are visually impactful, aligned with brand guidelines, and effective in achieving marketing goals.
Job Description
Brand Management
- Ensure all visual materials adhere to the hotel’s brand guidelines, color schemes, and design standards.
- Maintain a library of branded templates and design assets for internal use.
- Monitor design trends in hospitality and incorporate fresh ideas to improve guest engagement.
Project & Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with Front Office, F&B, Events, and other departments to design materials that support hotel operations.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Provide design support for internal communications and employee engagement initiatives
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Campaign Support: Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to understand campaign objectives and translate those goals into highly effective visual communication strategies.
- Channel Optimization: Design assets specifically tailored for performance and optimization across various platforms specially designing short, engaging video clips for Instagram Reels vs. high-resolution banners for the corporate website).
- Adherence to Timelines: Manage the creative workload, prioritizing projects to meet strict marketing campaign deadlines and product launch schedules.
- Design Feedback: Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input on overall campaign themes, messaging, and visual hierarchy.
Graphic Design & Visual Asset Creation
- Conceptualize and design a wide range of marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, website banners, email templates, infographics, presentations, brochures, flyers, and internal communications.
- Brand Ambassador: Maintain and enforce strict adherence to the company's brand identity, style guides, and design standards across all visual output.
- Photography/Videography: Coordinate, assist with, and occasionally execute photo and video shoots, ensuring assets are organized, retouched, and optimized for different platforms.
- Print Production: Prepare and manage final art files for high-quality print production, liaising with external printers and vendors.
- Asset Library: Maintain and organize the digital asset management (DAM) library, ensuring all creative assets (logos, images, templates) are easily accessible and up to date.
Technical & Software Proficiency
- Mastery of Creative Suite: Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- Photoshop (Image manipulation and retouching)
- Illustrator (Vector graphics and logo creation)
- InDesign (Layout and print production)
- Digital Tools: Familiarity with web design principles (HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus) and experience designing for email marketing platforms.
Qualification and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) or equivalent design tools.
- Strong creative and visual storytelling skills.
- Understanding of digital marketing principles, social media design requirements, and online branding.
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
