Job Summary
The Pool and Beach Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation, cleanliness, safety, and guest service standards of the hotel’s pool and beach areas. The role ensures that all facilities are well maintained, lifeguards and attendants perform their duties effectively, and guests enjoy a safe and pleasant experience. The supervisor also coordinates maintenance, schedules staff and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
Job Description
- Conduct regular inspections of water quality, equipment, and surroundings
- Monitor guest activities to ensure safety and excellent service standards.
- Plans and organizes pool technician, lifeguard and beach cleaners operations at pools, recreation facilities and beach area
- Supervise and coordinate pool and beach staff, including lifeguards and attendants.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of all pool and beach facilities
- Prepares, unlocks, inspects and locks pool grounds for opening and closing;
- Tests and records chlorine and PH levels for the pools;
- Responds to and resolves problems, inquiries and complaints relating to pool and beach facilities, Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and incidents professionally.
- Maintain records of maintenance, water treatment, and staff schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Schedules working hours, reviews and evaluates performance of assigned staff
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends improvements to pool and beach establishments, standard operating procedures and customer service
- Administers first-aid enforces and monitors safe work practices
Qualification and Requirements
- Certificate in Pool management, recreation management, or related field.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of pool water treatment, filtration, and safety procedures.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of chlorine and PH level distribution amounts and methods for pools technical knowledge
- First Aid procedures and of occupational hazards and safety practices applicable to working in a pool area
