Job Summary
The Room Service Attendant is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with hotel service standards. Ensures accuracy, hygiene, and a personalized guest experience that supports guest satisfaction and repeat business.
Job Description
- Deliver room service orders promptly and in a courteous manner.
- Set up trolleys/trays neatly and according to hotel standards.
- Present bills, handle payments, and ensure accurate posting through POS.
- Collect used trays/trolleys from guest floors and maintain cleanliness.
- Assist guests with menu questions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ensure all in-room dining equipment, cutlery, and tableware are clean and polished.
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and grooming standards consistently.
- Replenish condiments, amenities, and supplies as required.
- Coordinate with kitchen and F&B team to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest complaints politely and inform supervisors when needed.
Qualification and Requirements
- Certificate/diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management or Food and Beverage service is an advantage.
- 4+ experience in F&B service, room service experience is added advantage
- Strong communication skills and customer-service attitude.
- Experience in Food and Beverage call centre is added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours.
- Neat appearance and professional behavior.
