Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement and lead the sales and marketing strategy: create and execute plans to achieve hotel revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Plan and direct promotional campaigns
  • Manage and lead sales teams: Manage, motivate and supervise sales staff, including revenue management, MICE sales, and reservations.
  • Analyze the market and competition: Research outbound market trends, identify business opportunities, and analyze competitor behavior.
  • Manage key client relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate accounts and other key clients.
  • Coordinate with other departments: Ensure brand consistency and quality customer service across all hotel departments.
  • Oversee online presence: Manage online channels to maximize visibility and bookings.
  • Participate in events and trade shows: Represent the hotel at promotional events and industry trade shows.
  • Prepare reports and budgets: Prepare sales reports, analyze results, and manage budgets for the sales department.

Qualification and Requirements

  • Previous experience of 7 years in an identical or similar position linked to commercial activity and management of commercial teams.
  • High level of English. Knowledge of other languages such as German, Italian, French or Spanish would be an asset.
  • Tenacity, proactivity, leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic vision and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hotel sector and its distribution channels.
  • Command of commercial management tools, CRM and revenue management.
