Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to supervise and ensure compliance with all operations within the accounting department, while actively contributing to the preparation and presentation of financial statements and the effective management of tax processes.
Job Description
- Ensure compliance with the company’s administrative processes and standards.
- Supervise accounts receivable.
- Supervise payments and accounts payable.
- Prepare tips and commissions.
- Prepare local taxes.
- Record atypical accounting entries.
- Control unexpected charges.
- Maintain asset records.
- Record payroll and related taxes.
- Manage and control cost and revenue information.
- Supervise financial statements.
- Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, promotions, schedules, and all related matters for staff under their responsibility, in coordination with Human Resources.
- Assign tasks to the personnel under their supervision.
- Train and motivate the staff under their responsibility.
- Provide training within their department.
- Maintain an excellent work environment among employees.
Perform other related and complementary tasks associated with the position and the organization’s overall objectives.
Qualification and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 5 years in the accounting and finance area.
- Proven experience managing billing cycles, reconciliations, and month-end tasks in a fast-paced services or agency environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, with the ability to streamline workflows and maintain clear, reliable financial records
