Job Summary
The Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and enhancing the hotel’s online presence across all digital platforms. This role focuses on creating engaging content, driving brand awareness, and supporting hotel operations through effective communication and digital marketing strategies.
Job Description
Content Creation & Management
- Develop, create, and publish high-quality content (images, videos, graphics, captions) for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ensure all content aligns with the hotel’s brand identity, tone, and marketing strategy.
- Coordinate with photography/videography teams to capture in-house events, promotions, and daily operations.
- Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure regular posting and engagement.
Social Media Management
- Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and generate insights for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with trends, hashtags, and digital marketing best practices relevant to the hospitality industry.
Marketing & Promotion Support
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to create campaigns for promotions, special events, packages, and seasonal offers.
- Support public relations efforts by highlighting guest experiences, hotel achievements, and community initiatives.
- Assist in creating digital advertisements and sponsored content to maximize reach and booking conversions.
Collaboration with Hotel Operations
- Work closely with Front Office, F&B, Events, and other departments to capture and promote guest experiences and services.
- Ensure consistent representation of the hotel’s offerings across all digital channels.
- Contribute to storytelling that showcases hotel facilities, services, and guest satisfaction.
Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare monthly social media performance reports and suggest actionable improvements.
- Track competitor activity and benchmark performance to identify opportunities.
Qualification and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (preferably in hospitality).
- Strong photography, videography, and graphic design skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
