Job Summary
The Store Attendant is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the store, including handling inventory, receiving and issuing goods, and maintaining proper storage and organization. This role ensures that stock is managed efficiently and that the store operates smoothly under the supervision of the Store Supervisor or Store Manager.
Job Description
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming goods and supplies.
- Issue stock to various departments as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, and stored.
- Assist in conducting regular stock counts and inventory checks.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all store items.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards within the store.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Store Supervisor.
- Assist with moving stock, packing, and other manual store-related tasks.
- Support the Store Supervisor and Store Manager in daily operations as required.
Qualification and Requirements
- Certificate or vocational training in hospitality, logistics, or related field is a plus.
- 0–2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory, or related operations.
- Basic knowledge of stock handling and inventory procedures.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving stock safely.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
