Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, customer service, and financial performance. This role ensures smooth daily operations, maximizes sales, and maintains high standards of quality and efficiency.
Job Description
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and excellent customer service.
- Manage, mentor, and supervise store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and control inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement, deliveries, and stock replenishment.
- Implement and enforce store policies, procedures, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Analyze sales performance, prepare reports, and develop strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the store.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the store.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
- Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
Qualification and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in a hospitality, retail, or food & beverage environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, SAP systems, and basic financial reporting.
- Customer-focused with a professional and approachable demeanor
